Professor Sandino Presents to Delta Leadership Program

On Jan. 9, Professor David Sandino presented an introduction to the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta to the 2026 Delta Leadership Program, an annual program organized by the Delta Protection Commission and the Delta Foundation to educate Delta citizens (including Yolo County and UC Davis) about water issues, promote leadership, and  form networks.

Sandino discussed Delta hydrology, history and policy to 20 leaders in the program, including Delta community organizers and government officials.

David Sandino is the director of UC Davis Law’s Water Justice Clinic.
