Judy Janes, the Associate Director of the UC Davis Law Library, was presented with the Northern California Association of Law Libraries (NOCALL) Professional Achievement Award in May. Janes has served NOCALL, a regional chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries, and the larger law library community through the Government Relations Committee and the law-lib list.
Jorja Hoehn, director of development at the School of Law, received special recognition for her nine years as Coach of the UC Davis women's basketball team at a ceremony held at Freeborn Hall for 2005 Cal Aggie Athletic Hall of Fame inductees. While coaching, Jorja's team compiled a 205-51 record, a winning percentage still unmatched for a coach of women's basketball. In addition, she was three-time NCAC Coach of the Year, the 1995 WBCA/Converse National Coach of the Year, and the 1996 Molten/Division II Bulletin National Coach of the Year.
