King Hall Community Engages in DEI-Focused Training

Reverend Sam Offer talks to King Hall 1L students.

The law school was fortunate to have Reverend Sam Offer of the multicultural organizational development firm Washington Consulting Group with us this week for implicit bias trainings with incoming Class of 2026 students and King Hall staff members.

Reverend Offer engaged participants in important conversations about how to address implicit biases and micro-aggressions in various settings.

Our faculty members also are participating in training, through a three-part diversity, equity and inclusion-oriented program headed by Professor Camille Rich of USC Gould School of Law.

Thank you these experts, and to UC Davis Law Diversity and Student Life Director Alexis Elston and Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Afra Afsharipour for facilitating these illuminating and necessary trainings.
