Save the Date: MLK Day of Service and Celebration

On January 16, 2023, King Hall's Black Law Students Association, along with the MLK Day working group and the Office for Student Affairs, will be hosting the 4th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service and Celebration! This will be a great opportunity to give back to the local community. Our events in 2020, 2021 and 2022 (pictured above) were a great success and we know this year's will be as well!

MLK Day of Service and Celebration

Date: Monday, January 16, 2023

Location: King Hall

This year's activities will include:

  • An essentials donation drive
  • A donation drive to Malcolm X Academy in Sacramento (we are also looking to have a volunteer day here as well)
  • A naturalization workshop in partnership with King Hall's Immigration Law Clinic and the UC Immigrant Legal Services Center. Volunteers will assist Permanent Residents in completing the Application for Naturalization. (This will likely be occurring off-campus. More details to come.)
  • A blood drive
