Last week, UC Davis School of Law hosted a conference on Immigration and Farm Labor. The conference featured experts on immigration reform and agriculture. Professor Philip Martin of the UC Davis School of Agricultural and Resource Economics has organized this event for several years.

Several panels brought scholars and community members together to discuss farm labor and immigration issues. I was on a panel with Professor Amagda Pérez discussing immigration law and policy reform.

The moderator of the second panel was a King Hall alum, Julia Montgomery '96, General Counsel for the Agricultural Labor Relations Board. She explained the work of the Board.
