Upcoming Environmental Law Society Symposium

Join the Environmental Law Society for its symposium on Friday, Feb. 17 at King Hall from 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
In this year’s symposium, titled "Walking the Walk Toward an Equitable Future: The Urgent Need to Center Environmental Justice in Law and Policy,” ELS hopes to foster discussion and educate guests about community environmental justice goals, the government resources available to accomplish these goals, and the strategies to ensure these goals are met when systems fail.

Description: Government agencies (and attorneys from firms that represent them) speak about working environmental justice into law and policy in light of the funds available through the IRA, E.O.s 13,985 and 14,008, and EPA's new office for EJ.
