Social Science Research for Lawyers will teach users how to research questions that are either non-legal or multidisciplinary, with a focus on the social sciences. Five databases available at UC Davis will be discussed:

  • Academic Search Complete
    • PsycInfo
  • Business Source Complete
    • Social Science Citations
  • EconLit
Attendees will also learn how to put together Boolean searches, how to "Shepardize" non- law articles, how to get copies of articles and how to use indexes as well as a discussion of researching on the internet.
The speaker,Elisabeth McKechnie, will outline key strategies and resources in the presentation. The complete slides for the presentation are currently available.
