Administrators and Alumni Present at LSAC Conference
The Law School Admissions Council (LSAC) Annual Meeting and Educational Conference, held May 30 to June 2, 2007, in Tucson, AZ, will feature a UC Davis Law School dean, administrator, and alumna as moderators and presenters.
Cristina Gapasin, Assistant Director of Admissions at the Law School, was a member of the Conference Planning Work Group. She will moderate two panels: "Ethics in the Internet Age" and "What's at the End of the Diversity Pipeline?"
Hollis Kulwin, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, is a presenter on the ethics panel, which will wrestle with the ethical questions of how law schools should handle all the new web information available in our Internet culture.
Alum Joan M. Haratani '84, a partner with Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP, is also a presenter. She will participate on the diversity panel, which will discuss diversity in law firms.
Admissions representatives from the 195 ABA approved law schools in the United States as well as from 18 Canadian Law Schools will be in attendance at the Annual Meeting.
