Gov. Newsom appoints Jan Schori '78 to Independent System Operator board

Gov. Gavin Newsom has appointed Jan Schori ’78 to the California Independent System Operator board of governors.

Schori served on the board of the North American Electric Reliability Corp. from 2009 until this year. She is the former CEO and general manager of the Sacramento Municipal Utility District.

UC Davis Law Professor Ashutosh Bhagwat also sits on the ISO board of governors, where he serves as vice chair.
