'Million Dollar Listing' Star Headlines King Hall Negotiations Team's Shark Week
Andrew Greenwell, CEO and Principal at Venture Sotheby's International Realty in Pleasanton and star of Bravo's hit TV show "Million Dollar Listing San Francisco," delivered a presentation titled "Negotiating across Generations" at King Hall on September 15. Greenwell's appearance was the highlight of Shark Week, a weeklong series of events organized by the students of the King Hall Negotiations Team. The lively presentation on differences across the generations in regards to communication and negotiation styles garnered the highest attendance of any event in Shark Week history.
Other Shark Week events included "Protecting Innovation, Creative Works, and More with Negotiations," a presentation by Eric Kastner '72, Managing Principal of Kastner Kim LLP (Silicon Valley); "Employment Law Negotiations and Negotiation Etiquette" by Jason H. Jasmine ‘01, Founding Partner at Messing Adam & Jasmine LLP (Sacramento); "Using Technology to Increase Satisfaction and Lower Negotiation Costs" by Suzanne Miller, Director of Global and NA Commercial Sales Legal Group at Hewlett-Packard Company; "How to Succeed in Negotiation Competitions" by Professor Donna Shestowsky, Faculty Advisor for KHNT; and the Fourth Annual 1L Negotiation Competition on September 26, the final event of Shark Week.
