Pamela Wu Hosts Capital Public Radio Health Care Documentary
UC Davis School of Law Director of Marketing and Public Relations Pamela Wu will host "Dealing with Diabetes: Three Stories of Ethnic Communities Coping with an Epidemic," a documentary scheduled to air on Capital Public Radio, Sacramento's NPR affiliate, on November 18.
The documentary focuses on the epidemic of diabetes in three ethnic groups: American Indian, African-American, and South Asian immigrants. The program is the first of three community health documentaries slated to be produced by Capital Public Radio's newly formed documentary unit in the next six months. "Dealing with Diabetes" airs November 18 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and again from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Capital Public Radio's News/Jazz stations: 90.9 FM Sacramento, 90.5 FM Tahoe/Reno, 91.3 FM Stockton/Modesto and, 88.1 FM Quincy.
Before joining the Law School in 2009, Wu was an anchor/reporter at KCRA-TV in Sacramento.
