Reviews on Prominent Blogs Praise Professor Sarkar's Article

Professor Shayak Sarkar’s article “Internal Revenue’s External Borders” (forthcoming, California Law Review) has drawn praise from legal scholars. In a review published Sept. 11 on the Yale Journal on  Regulation blog, University of Michigan Assistant Professor Daniel Deacon called the article “a fascinating study of something I’d never heard of” and an “elegantly straightforward piece."

In a Sept. 8 review on the TaxProf Blog, Ohio State Assistant Professor Blaine Saito described how Sarkar “shatter[s] our sense that the tax system is somehow separate from some of the problems we have seen in removals and family separation.”
