Dean Johnson Presents at AALS Conference on Affirmative Action

On July 10, Dean Kevin R. Johnson presented at the Association of American Law Schools’ Conference on Affirmative Action. The conference followed the U.S. Supreme Court’s June decision that effectively ended the practice in college admissions.

Johnson spoke on a panel addressing the issues left open and how to approach them.

Kevin R. Johnson is the law school’s dean, Mabie-Apallas Professor of Public Interest Law and professor of Chicana/o studies at UC Davis. He is an internationally recognized scholar in the fields of immigration law and policy, refugee law, and civil rights.
